Kaffarah in Islam is a form of atonement for breaking a vow or deliberately missing a fast during Ramadan without valid reason. It requires either fasting for 60 consecutive days or feeding 60 needy individuals. Kaffarah serves as a significant act of repentance and redemption in the faith.
